Another successful seizure in Tshwane - Safe LP Gas Disitributors Network South Africa

On September 11, 2024, our team, led by District Commander Phineas Mashala, responded to reports of illegal Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) trading at a residential property in Laudium.

During our inspection, we uncovered a total of 106 multi-branded LPG cylinders, including 72 stored in a truck outside. This individual, a repeat offender, was issued a significant fine of R28,000 and the cylinders were confiscated for safety.

This operation highlights the ongoing efforts by the Tshwane Emergency Services and Metro Police to ensure compliance with safety regulations. We’re committed to protecting our community from hazards associated with illegal LPG trading.
